You typically resize windows to work with several at the same time (for instance, you might want to move text from one text file to another, or rearrange files between several folders. This tutorial will show only a small part of a window that is maximized.

To maximize a window (enlarge it to fill the desktop), either double-click the title box, or click the middle box in the upper right corner.

To restore the window to its previous size, do the same thing again.

To change the size of a window, move the cursor over an edge of the window until it changes to a double-ended arrow, then press the left button and drag to change either the width or height. Dragging a corner will change both width and height.

The new "snap" features let you quickly maximize and restore a window.

To maximize, drag the title to the top of your desktop.

To fill the left or right half of your desktop, drag the window title to either edge.

To fill 1/4 of the desktop, drag the window title to a corner.

To enlarge the height, but keep the width unchanged, drag the bottom edge to the bottom of the desktop.

To restore a "snapped" window's size and position double-click the title.
If the snap features don't work, here's how to enable/disable them.
Click "start", "control panel", "ease of access","change how your mouse works".
to ENABLE "snap", UNCHECK "prevent windows from..." to DISABLE "snap", CHECK the box.
Then click "OK", close the window.

That's the end of this tutorial. Thanks for watching.
