iPhone Setup
I recommend you purchase your iPhone in a "brick-and-mortar" store that will set it up for you. You can do it yourself, but the store will do it faster. Have your old cell phone with you. Also, have all your account usernames, passwords and pass codes with you, including Microsoft, Apple, Google, email, Dropbox, iCloud, etc. RECORD YOU IPHONE UNLOCK CODE!!!!!
Basic Operation (TBD)

GOODIES - These are for people who like to take FULL ADVANTAGE of their iPhones. (Some would say "nerds"!)
Mirroring Your iPhone Display On Your PC
Mirroring
the display is an excellent way to show one or more friends how to perform an operation on the iphone, such as organizing the apps,
using one of the built-in features,
or using an app.
Recording Your iPhone Display
You might want to record your iPhone display to:
send the video to a friend, explaining how to do something on the iPhone,
prepare a YouTube tutorial showing how to use the iPhone. There are several ways to record the iPhone.
The Cyberlink Screen Recorder video is not specific for the iPhone. To record the iPhone, start mirroring with Reflector 3, then use Screen Recorder to record the iPhone display.
Choosing The Best Method To Record Your iPhone
The video compares the methods described above, and shows how to choose the best method to fill your needs.
Control Your DSLR With Your iPhone
Most DSLR manufacaturers have an iPhone app that allows you to mount the camera on a tripod, then control it remotely, with an iPhone, using WIFI . The video uses a Canon T6i.
Stargazing With Your iPhone
A stargazing app displays the night sky when you hold it up. As you move it, it displays the part of the sky the iPhone is facing. Most apps help you locate and identify objects in the sky.
Correction to Quickstart video: The top slider adjusts the limiting magnitude of the display, NOT the brightness!
How To Use Your iPhone As a Teleprompter
The video below describes hardware and software to use the iPad as a teleprompter. Everything in the video also applies to using the iPhone, including using a bluetooth keyboard. There are several keyboards, such as the Logitech K780 multi-device keyboard that work with a Windows PC, or any IOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iMac).
The videos below show how to use the Teleprompt+ App For the iPad. The app provides scrolling text that you read while looking directly at your DSLR. Teleprompter apps are used with the hardware described in the previous video. The videos were made for the iPad, and will be replaced in the next few weeks.
